holy shit... that has to be nearly the weight of the wheel in balancing weights...

if it actually needs that many weights to run straight im gonna say that wheel is fucked and needs replacing

I hope that it’s at least a piece of angle iron, and that we just can’t see the other half of the L on account of the view. Otherwise I don’t see how it didn’t bend on the first press.

What’s really surprising to me though, is that it’s a 10 yr old Cobalt! How in the world did it even need pedal repair?

Hopefully, but with that booger weld, I’m not sure it matters much.

Who knows. People do some weird stuff to cheap cars. There was a Cobalt running the Gambler that had a 10” tall I-beam as it’s front bumper.
